MEET OUR PASTOR BISHOP LARAY TILLMAN
Bishop LaRay Tillman Jr. serves as the Senior Pastor of Floyd Chapel Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Georgia. A native of Atlanta, he currently resides in McDonough, Georgia, with his wife and best friend of over 20 years, Minister Altravise Tillman, affectionately known as Lady V. Together, they are blessed with one daughter, LaRyiah M. Tillman.

Bishop Tillman holds numerous certifications in church leadership, church growth, and ministry development that equip him to effectively inspire, lead, and strengthen the Body of Christ. He holds a Bachelor of Biblical Studies and is deeply committed to lifelong learning, theological depth, and practical ministry application. His academic foundation, combined with hands-on pastoral experience, allows him to teach, preach, and lead with clarity, balance, and spiritual authority.

On September 17, 2016, Bishop Tillman was consecrated to the office of Bishop in the Lord’s Church, affirming his call to apostolic leadership and faithful service within the Body of Christ.

In addition to his pastoral and spiritual leadership, Bishop Tillman was sworn in on November 12, 2024, to serve on the Stockbridge Citizen’s Police Advisory Council (CPAC), continuing his commitment to community engagement and service with integrity and dedication.

Bishop Tillman is also the author of I Am Tired of Being Toxic: Breaking Free from the Patterns That Are Killing You Inside, a transformative work that challenges readers to confront destructive patterns, pursue healing, and walk in spiritual and emotional wholeness through biblical truth.

Widely recognized as a passionate and dynamic preacher, Bishop Tillman invigorates congregations with his engaging delivery and profound biblical insight. His love for people and his heart to reach the lost are evident in every aspect of his ministry. He shares the Apostle Paul’s commitment to serving God, as expressed in Titus 1:1 (KJV):
