Minister Altravise “Lady V” Tillman

Minister Altravise Tillman, affectionately known as Lady V, is a native of Lithonia, Georgia, the wife of Bishop LaRay Tillman Jr., and the First Lady of Floyd Chapel Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Georgia. Together, Bishop Tillman and Lady V have shared more than two decades of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, family, ministry, and service. They have been blessed with one daughter, LaRyiah M. Tillman.

Lady V is a gifted teacher and an anointed vessel of God who accepted her call to ministry in 2001 at the age of 20 under the leadership of the late Archbishop Jimmie L. Smith and Dr. Ruth Smith. She was ordained in March 2009 and has faithfully served in ministry for more than two decades. Her ministry is marked by transparency, practical biblical teaching, and a genuine desire to see people transformed through the Word of God.

Lady V is also an accomplished author whose writing reflects her passion for healing, spiritual growth, and transformation. She is the author of Undone & Becoming: Letting God Do the Work Within Me One Layer at a Time, a powerful and transparent work that encourages women to surrender the hidden places of their lives to God and allow Him to heal, restore, and transform them from the inside out.

She is also the co-author, alongside her husband, Bishop LaRay Tillman Jr., of ARE YOU A DISCIPLE?: A Discipleship Devotional. Rooted in their shared passion for discipleship and spiritual growth, the devotional challenges believers to move beyond simply identifying as Christians to intentionally following Jesus, becoming more like Him, and helping others follow Him. Through practical biblical teaching and reflection, Bishop and Minister Tillman encourage readers to examine their walk with Christ and embrace the daily commitment of living as true disciples.

Lady V holds an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and, in addition to her roles as wife, mother, First Lady, and ordained minister, she has built a successful professional career with more than two decades of service at The Coca-Cola Company. Her ability to navigate faith, family, ministry, and career reflects her commitment to excellence, integrity, and purpose in every area of her life.

Her vision and passion center on empowering women to grow in Christ, strengthen their self-esteem and self-worth, and break the glass ceilings that hinder their spiritual, emotional, and personal growth. Through teaching, mentorship, and authentic ministry, Lady V challenges women to embrace healing, discover their purpose, and walk boldly in the wholeness God desires for their lives.

Whether ministering from the pulpit, pouring into women, writing, mentoring, or serving alongside her husband in ministry, Lady V remains passionate about meeting people where they are while encouraging them to become all that God has called them to be.

Above all, her mission is to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that all whom God sends her way may be saved, baptized, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Her life and ministry are rooted in a simple desire: to serve God faithfully, love His people genuinely, and leave every person she encounters encouraged to grow deeper in Christ.
